Hi, I’m Katie!

My interest in photography started in high school, when I experimented with portraits and learned how a camera worked. Over time, I realized that what I loved most wasn’t the posing—it was the real moments that happened in between.That’s what drew me to family photography. The quiet smiles, laughter between siblings, and small interactions between parents and children often become the memories families treasure the most.

Photography allows us to hold onto moments that pass far too quickly. After experiencing that joy in my own family photos, I felt inspired to share that gift with other families as well. My goal is to capture images that feel natural and timeless — photographs that reflect your family’s love, connection, and story.

In addition to family sessions, I also love documenting life’s milestones and celebrations — graduations, birthday milestones, birthday parties, church events, and family outings.

I also photograph children’s sporting events, giving parents the chance to relax and enjoy the game while I capture the action and proud moments on the field.

For me, photography is about storytelling — preserving moments that families can look back on for years to come and still get all the fuzzy good feelings!

A Little About Me Outside the Camera

Faith, family, and community are very important to me. Spending time with my family is truly the inspiration behind my passion for photography.

Some of my favorite photos are the simple, everyday moments we’ve captured together — the ones that make me smile when they pop up on my computer or when I see them hanging in our home. They’re reminders of love, laughter, and moments that pass far too quickly. 

My faith has also shaped the way I see photography. I believe the moments we share with the people we love are blessings, and capturing them helps us hold onto those gifts just a little longer.

What to Expect

My sessions are relaxed and natural. I’ll guide you when needed, but I leave plenty of room for real interaction — the hugs, laughter, and playful moments that make your family unique.

Kids have a way of just being themselves, and those are usually the moments that turn into the most beautiful images.

For events like sporting games, birthday parties, and graduations, my goal is simply to capture the day as it happens so you can focus on enjoying it.
